How ant search their food and give information to each other about this?

pheromones helps ants keep track of foods. Once food is found, the scout collect a little amount of itand marches back to their colony and leaving their pheromones trail behind. And once in colony other ants analys the food that the scout brought, they follow the lead of the ant which has searched the food.
