How aquatic mammals can live under water for more period of time?

since,they have lungs they need to breath air instead of just getting oxygen from the water like fish and other ocean animals.aquatic animals may breathe that dissolved in water through specialized organs called gills.

1). Aquatic animals are able to live underwater because they have an oxygen-binding protein myoglobin which allows them to store oxygen in their muscles.

2). Aquatic mammals can stay inside water much longer than humans do for example:-

Sperm whale-90minutes

Dolphin-10minutes

Elephant seal-120 minutes

As compared to the human these are very large numbers because humans can only stay 2 minutes underwater without oxygen.
