how are actions of Mr. Oliver opposite in the beginning and ending of the story.

Oliver at the starting of the story was very cruel to his brother, Orlando . he didn't think of any good for him . but as the story progresses , Oliver understands that all this tym he was thinking wrong about Orlando , and the fact that even when he did so much wrong to him , he saved his life risking his own life .. hence at the end he turns to the good side
