The alluvial soil is formed by the action of three major himalayan rivers system--the Indus, the Ganga, and the brahmaputra

Bhangar is reffered as old alluvial soil whereas khadar is new alluvial soil.

Bhangar soil has higher concentration of kanker nodules than the khadar.

Khadar soil is more fertile than Bangar soil.
