How are artries different from veins??

Arteries carry oxygenated blood where as veins carry deoxygenated blood...
Arteries are thick walled where as veins are thin and elastic...
Arteries do not have valves where as veins have valves to prevent the back flow of blood...
Arteries are red in colour where as veins are blue in colour....
