alkalis are bases which are soluble in water but bases are not soluble in water.eg for alkali is.NaOH
all alkalis are bases but all bases are not alkalis...

All the metallic oxides produce bases.some bases easily dissolve in water to form alkalies. so, the alkalie derive from bases but all bases cannot disolve in water to form alkalie.so,we can say that all alkalies are bases but all bases are not alkalies. please mark me as branliest
