Biofertilizers are alternatively called manure is more beneficial than chemical fertilizers due to the following reasons:
1 manures increase the water storing capacity of a soil.
2 it increases the number of friendly macro bacteria in soil improving the fertility.
3 it adds the organic component of soil, produced by the decomposition of leaves and other plant material by soil microorganisms.
4 it is cheap compared to the chemical one.
5 it does not cause pollution.
WHEREAS excessive application of chemical fertilizers greatly increases the growth of cropping pattern but sometimes produce less yield get effected moreover when fertilizers get washed off through irrigation and rainfall, they washed fertilizer flows to the water bodies polluting it seriously.
