How are bone cells and cartilage cells are arranged in the solid matrix?

The bone is made up of hard and solid matrix called oestosytes. It is rod like structure which provides frame work to our body.

Cartilage is made up of soft , solid matrix which provides flexibility . It is mainly present in ears , nose, etc.
