as soon as we eat saliva in our mouth releases salivary amylaze, which digests starch into sugar.
after this, food through peristaltic movement goes stomach. the stomach contains some tabular glands which secrete GASTRIC JUICE which contains three substances HCL, enzyme pepsin, mucus.
Pepsin in stomach starts digesting proteins.
food now goes to the small intestine.
THE SMALL INTESTINE IN THE HUMAN BEINGS IS THE SITE OF COMPLETE DIGESTION OF CARBOHYDRATES, FATS AND PROTEINS.
the small intestine recieves secretions from two glands-liver and pancreas.
pancreas releases pancreatic juice which contain enzymes like trypsin which digests proteins, lipase which breaks down the emusified fats.

the walls of the intestine contains intestinal juice. it has number of enzymes which completely digest complex carbohydrates into glucose, proteins into amino acids and fats into fatty acids and glycerol.

Answer:

These enzymes include proteases to break down proteins, lipases that digest fats and more amylase to finish splitting carbohydrates. Fats are broken down into fatty acids and glycerol, proteins into peptides and amino acids, and carbohydrates become simple sugars such as glucose and fructose
