Cardiac muscles are different from Skeleton muscles as cardiac muscles are present in heart and work continuously your full life time.
But skeleton muscles are not always working.

The similarity between the cardio and skeletal muscles, is that they are both categorized as striated muscles, because of presence of actin and myosin fillament alternatively (dark and light band). However, their major difference is that the skeletal muscle is controlled by the somatic nervous system, and the cardiac muscles are, by nature, involuntarily controlled.
