how are cfcs harmful for the environment and living being

Hey!!

CFC = Chlorofluorocarbons

They are harmful because ⤵️

1. They convert Ozone into oxygen thus making a hole in the ozone layer.

2. CFC is also harmful in the way that it will allow harmful UV rays to enter the Earth and cause Skin Cancer and irritation in eyes.

CFCs → Choloro Fluro Carbons ..

These are used in A.Cs and Refrigerators as cooling foils ...These cause ozone depletion.
If ozone depletes then we need to face many problems...
The UV rays from the sun are harmful so this ozone layer absorbs and reflects them back.
If ozone isn't there then we may face skin diseases coz of UV rays.
