Ordinary cells can convert chemical energy to electrical energy only, but rechargeable cells can also store electrical energy into chemical energy and vice versa. You will study more about it in your higher classes.

ordinary cells:

ordinary cells do not have capacity to be charged
ordinary cells can be used only for a few days of time
ordinary cells are useless after their power is finished
ordinary cells can't help through out the life span of any object
if we are using ordinary cells then we should change the cells for many times infact it costs more than the cost of that object

chargeable cells:

chargeable cells can be charged and used for long time
chargeable cells can be used for a long time they have more life than ordinary cells
chargeable cells can help out the object through out its life span
chargeable cells are basically almost used everywhere because they don't cost much and help us for a long time

hope this helps you!!!!
