How are chemical bonds formed

A chemical bond may be defined as the force of attraction between any two atoms in a molecule to maintain stability. Cause of chemical combination of the tendency of elements to apply the nearest noble gas configuration in the outermost orbit and become stable.
A chemical bond is formed when two molecules react to attain stability.
