How are chromatin, chromatid and chromosomes related to each other?​

When a cell starts to divide,the tangled mass of chromatin condense into long threads and finally,rod-like bodies called chromosomes.A chromatid is one copy of duplicated chromosome which is generally joined to the other copy of a centromere.

During non dividing phase of a cell,chromatin threads remain highly intangled but during cell division,they condense into short rod shaped structure called chromosomes.Each chromosomes has two thread like chromatids
