These diseases do not cure entirely but it's effects on the body can be limited by the use of antidotes, prescribed by the doctor. The examples of such diseases are diabetes, asthma, cancer, etc. These correlate with the poor health of an individual since their cure hasn't been figured out, yet. Even if their effect is limited the bacteria or virus will catch up if the medicine is not taken in due time.
