Clouds are classified on the basis of height and shape
The classification of clouds
Low clouds : Stratocumulus, nimbostratus, cumulus, cumulonimbus, stratus, nimbus
Medium clouds : Altocumulus, altostratus.
High clouds : Cirrus, cirrostratus, cirrocumulus.
