how are combustible substances different from non combustible substances?

Because the substances which catch fire easily to produce heat and light are called combustible substance. The substance which do not catch fire are known as non combustible substance. like glass steel

the substances which have hydrogen are called combustible substances and those having no hydrogen in them are called incombustible substances
