Hey!

Consumer Protection Councils are formed by consumers of a city or an area.. It is a non-government voluntary organization. Consumer Courts are set up by the Government.
iv. Consumer courts can fine or punish the sellers or manufacturers who follow unfair trade practices whereas Consumer protection Council can develop consumer awareness among the people and help consumers to lodge complaints against the sellers or manufacturers who follow unfair trade practices. In many
cases, they represent individual consumers in the courts.
