Answer: Crystallization is the process by which we can obtain crystals of copper sulphate. In this process, a few drops of dilute sulphuric acid is added to water. The water is then boiled & as it starts boiling, copper sulphate powder is added with stirring. The powder must be added on till the solution becomes saturated.

➢ Take some impure copper sulphate in a china dish and dissolve in minimum amount of water.
➢ Filter the solution to remove impurities.
➢ Heat the copper sulphate solution on water bath.
➢ When small crystals form on glass rods, stop heating.
➢ Allow the saturated solution to cool slowly.
➢ Crystals of pure copper sulphate are formed.
➢ Separate the copper sulphate crystals by filtration and dry.
