Explanation:

When the earth is divided into imaginary lines of longitudes and latitudes, it forms a grid. With the help of these girds, the longitude and latitudes are divided into degrees and time to find an exact location. Each degree can be broken into 60 minutes, and each minute can be further divided into 60 seconds.

Answer:

Hi..

some tips to remember when finding time by longitudes:-

1)•Earth moves from west to east.

•So remember east side's time will be ahead and west side's time will be behind.

•When calculating any place's time from west to farther west subtract, then same for west to farther west.

• But any place from east to wast or west to east add the degrees.

2) After doing adding or subtracting,

• The number u will get multiply with 4. U will get the time in minutes then, divide by 60 to convert into hours..

• So u can find how many hours ahead of behind...

• U got ur answer..

Hope it helps.. :)
