Explanation:

Many years ago, a day, Dashratha was hunting animals near river and a kind of sound came from that side. Dashratha thought that there should be an animal, so Dashratha left his arrow towards river. But it was not an animal, it was Shravan.

Shravan died by that arrow, but before dying, he said Dashratha that his parents are thirsty so please go and give them some water. After saying this he died.

Dashratha went to his parents, and his parents thought that Shravan came, so they asked him that son, you got water, we are thirsty. Then, Dashratha told the whole story to parents and said sorry. But his parents were very sad and disappointed.

Before dying, Shravan father cursed Dasharath and said that he will also die like Shravan's father, in the shock of separation to his most loved son. And then both of them died.

When lord Ram went to the exile, after some days Dashratha died because he can't tolerate the separation of his son Ram.

In this way, death of Dashratha is connected to Shravan.

Hope it helps :)
