Here is ur Answer!!

An instrument creates sound when part of it vibrates rapidly. The column of air inside a wind instrument, the string of a string instrument, or the stretched skin of a drum all vibrate when played. This vibration produces sound waves in the air, which we hear as musicalnotes.

Hope it helps!!

Answer:

Hi here is ur answer

Explanation:

In string based instruments the frequency of vibration of the string is changed by changing the tension on the string. This results in generation of different notes on other hand in musical instruments like flute ,the holes on the flute are opened or closed to change the lengths of vibrating air column in flute.Hence it results in generation of different sound notes.

Hope it helps.
