economic activities are of 3 types.
they are 1.primary sector
2.secondary sector.
3.teritiary sector.
Primary sector includes activities such as farming,fishing,forestry and mining.
Secondary sector include all industries manufacturing finished goods.This group consists of many board industrial sectors such as automobile,chemicals,textiles,engineering etc.
Tertiary sector are also called service sector.it provides services to the consumers as well as to other producers.This includes services such as disrtibution,retail,communication etc.
Division of these activities enables us to study and understand manu important characteristics of economic behaviour and to understand the nature and state of an economy.it also makes us to understand how much goods and services are produced and how many are employed in each sector.
