The egg laying animals are non primates mamals or also called oviparous animals.How ever the animals who give birth a young one are called viviparous or primate mamals.In case of egg laying animals embryonic development occurs outside of the body,but in viviparous animal it occurs inside the body.Birds are oviparous and human and other animals are viviparous.
