how are elements arranged in a periodic table?​

In the p block, most are non metals except few which are metalloids. The rest all elements of the periodic table are metals.

Some additional information:

1. group 1 elements are known as alkali metals

2. group 2 elements are known as alkaline earth metals.

3. there are 2 extra rows, usually shown separately below the rest of the elements. These are "Lanthanoids" and "Actinoids"

elements with similar properties are arranged together and dissimilar are far aways they are called groups and and the elementss with same number of electron shell are arrange in same row called periods..and elements are arranged in increasing atomic numbers
