Adaptive features of elephant that help it to live in tropical climate are as follows :-
- It has large ears with a keen sense of hearing. These large ears also allow heat to escape from their bodies.
- It has two large tusk teeth which help it to tear bark of trees.
- It has a huge trunk which helps it in breathing, eating, drinking and many other activities.
- It has a huge size which scares away predators.
- It has a loud noise or trumpet which helps it to contact with it's group.
- It has thick skin which prevents wounds, burns and heat to enter in it's body.
