"Ex Nihilo is Latin for ""Out of nothing."" According to these stories, creation and the earth was made from nothingness.
Earth diver stories, however, say that the universe was created from water. Both these stories have some credibility as; during the big bang, we can tell that creation happened out of nothingness.
Also, we can say earth came from water because most of the planet was covered by water before the land masses came out.
