✔Ans = When excess ATPand glucose are present, the liver converts them into a molecule called glycogen, which is stored for later use.Through the process of cellular respiration, the energy in food is converted into energy that can be used by the body's cells. During cellular respiration, glucose and oxygen are converted into carbon dioxide and water, and the energy is transferred to ATP.

The relation between foods that we eat and ATP is that the food is converted in the body into the energy source ATP to drive the essential bodily functions and maintain homeostasis.

‘Food molecules’ are broken down in three stages to ‘produce ATP’. First, the enzymatic breakdown of ‘food molecules’ during digestion. Second, the glucose molecules follow through a chain of reactions called glycolysis that produces ‘two molecules’ of ATP for ‘one molecule’ of glucose.

Third, oxidative breakdown of food molecules in mitochondria produce the maximum of cell’s ATP. At any given time, roughly \bold{10^{9}} molecules of ATP are distributed in a cell.
