Hi,

Your answer :-

Every year, 13 million hectares of forest disappear from the surface of the globe. If we want to ensure the future of our forests, it is vital to ensure that they are managed sustainably. Deforestation is inextricably linked to climate change because it is responsible for no less than 18% of CO2 emissions. In addition to global warming, deforestation has many other negative consequences, including reduced employment for local people or environmental problems such as biodiversity loss, erosion and water pollution. ...

Forests are under increasing pressure. Every day, our use of wood increases. Wood to heat us, to build, to decorate, but also to make paper, cardboard, etc ... Of course we can continue to use it, because wood is the renewable material par excellence. In addition, trees absorb and store CO2. Using trees in a forest will not cause it to decline unless it is unbalanced and / or excessive. Responsible and sustainable logging (ensuring a balance between ecological, social and economic functions) is therefore crucial.

Forest certification ensures that timber (or its derived product) comes from legally and sustainably managed forests.

Good bye :)

Answer:

The importance of forests cannot be underestimated. We depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we use. Besides providing habitats for animals and livelihoods for humans, forests also offer watershed protection, prevent soil erosion and mitigate climate change

Explanation:

Fuelwood. For the rural population, wood is an important source of energy for cooking and heating. ...

Fodder. Fodder from the forest forms an important source for cattle and other grazing animals in the hilly and the arid regions and during a drought. ...

Wind breaks and shelter belts. ...

Soil erosion check. ...

Soil improvement.

Forest products include materials derived from a forest for commercial and personal use such as lumber, paper, and firewood as well as “special forest products” such as medicinal herbs, fungi, edible fruits and nuts, and other natural products.
