When a child's body starts getting mature and undergo some physical changes and capable of sexual reproduction, this period is called puberty.

Explanation:

1. Growth and sexual maturation are two different development changes in  organisms. Growth refers to the physical growth or changes in body such as height, weight, change in body shape and size while sexual maturation refers to development of sexual or reproductive organs that are bale to produce gametes in male and female, that make them ready for reproduction process.

2. Symptoms observed in sexually matured females are increase in breast size, menstruation process, growth of pubic hair, growth of underarm hair, and change in body shape.

3. The endometrium wall of uterus remain thick before fertilization period. When male sex cell that is sperm will fuse the female sex cell that is egg, the egg is fertilized and begins developing.

The egg then travel to uterus from Fallopian tube. if the fertilized egg will successfully implanted in the uterus wall, uterus wall will cover the egg along with its blood vessels and become more thick but if the egg will not implant successfully then the endometrium wall of uterus will break and become thin leads to menstruation.
