General growth and sexual maturation

Explanation:

  1. General growth means positive change of  different developmental process that takes place in body like changes in size, shape, height weight and diameter but sexual maturation occur at puberty when maturation takes place in the  reproductive organs of the individual and he/she  is capable in reproduction and produce gametes.
  2. Symptoms observed in sexually matured female-Increase in the size of breast tissue, growth in bony pelvis, appearance of pubic and armpit hair, growth in vagina, oviduct, uterus etc.
  3. Changes that takes place in uterus after fertilization-After fertilization, the uterine lining becomes thinner and the egg travels to the uterus called implantation. When the uterus detect blastocyst ,it releases hormone that breaks down the outer membrane of the blastocyst.
