how are genetical diseases carried from parents to the offspring

It happens due to dominant genetic diseases and it cause by mutation in one copy of gene

Genetically diseases which an offspring can inherit is checked by punnet square.
Male have genetic disease on X chromosome not on Y chromosome but female have both X chromosome.
If the offspring is a boy he will inherit the disease on X chromosome while a girl offspring will inherit only if both the X chromosomes are affected in male just 1 chromosome is affected.
In male kid disease is shown as X°Y. ° sign shows the presence of disease.
In female kid disease is shown X°X° this shows she has disease but if the sign is only on 1 chromosome like X°X this means she is carrier of disease.
