1 mole of any element weighs it's gram atomic mass....for eg 1 mole of Sodium weighs 23 grams... and mole concept is important as it is helpful in related calculations and also it shows relations between molecular formula and vapour density, volume and mass of an element

A mole is a useful quantity which allows us to use large quantities of substances and calculate the no. of particles in them after doing reactions and figuring out properties at the atomic level I guess
