Yes only and only humans are responsible for the depletion of vegetation and wildlife..
Because Now a days humans are using all forest materials for their daily life use and for their profit.

people are not thinking about their future resources just they are thinking about present and their profit...

In the case of wild life , people are hunting more and more animals as elephant (for their their teeth ) , tigers (for their skin), Rhino (for their horn), Stag (for their horns)....

In all case people are just thinking about themselve , not for animals and future resources...

These will extinct after some times if this process will going on...

if human are responsible for depletion of vegetation then only human can stop this and make our environment good...

We will have to protect our resouce ...

1- Humans clears the forest and vegetation cover for farmlands to feed the increasing population. 2- It needs a land to build houses for human population.

3- The demand of animal in the form of meats, skins had increased.
