Some main reasons are :
1)Over CO2 emmisions leading in global warming and melting of polar ice, fire in the forests due to heat of CO2,etc.
2)over use of fossil fuels, leading it to extinction
In this era we are just over using our natural resources which create problems but lets go in details
1)Excess use of Coal or extracting process leads in lot of carbon dio oxide, leading to global warming.
2)use of fossil fuels too have the same result, but the vast amount of continously extracting and using process is leading to the extinction of such fuels slowly.
3)The amount of vastly going deforestation is again leading to global warming. since it doesn't allows to cool the envoirment which is continously undergoing with the vast amount of CO2 emmisions.
4)The polar ice shelves are melting rapidly due to global warming. Which indirectly affects the earths atmospheric weather.
These are some of the main problems we face today, if needed more inform me!
