Answer:- Human needs changed with time, In the beginning humans develop simple tools, later they used metals to create machines and to run these machines they used coal. With the discovery of petroleum machines become smaller and efficient. This way continuous development in technology increased the demand of natural resource as well as greed of energy, which has led to environmental pollution.
The invention of the wheel, surplus production and exchange of surplus goods or the barter system helped them to progress. The Industrial Revolution started in 1760 and it help led to large scale production of the goods.
