Edicts ,temples and land grants, commentaries on the Dharmashastras , coins , latter Puranas such as the Bhavishya Puranas.

the records left by the Muslim historians who accomapnied the likes of Mahmud of Ghazni such as his secretary al-Utbi's memoirs.
