Acquired Traits are the traits which are acquired by an organism during its lifetime. The change does not take place in the DNA of its gametes. It takes place in the non-reproductive cells...
e.g Mental ability, swimming, cancer, etc...
Inherited Traits are the traits which are inherited by an organism from its parental generation. The change takes place in the DNA of the reproductive cells...
e.g. Eye colour, Blood group, hair colour, earlobe structure, etc...
