how are inherited traits different things from acquired traits give examples

*Acqired trait

- traits or characteristics of an organism which is not inherited and develop in response to the environment is called Acquired traits.

- example: if Beetle doesn't get sufficient food for a considerable time it's wet will be reproduced due to starvation.

*Inherited trade

- A trade or characteristic of an organism which caused by a change in its genes or DNA is called an inherited traits.

- example: change of green colour in the Beetle has been brought about by a change in the gene or DNA of the reproductive cells.

Acquired traits  :

  • Those characters that are developed by the individuals during his lifetime.

  • They are a result of changes in non - reproductive issues.

  • They cannot be passed on to the progeny.

  • These are lost with the death of individuals.

  • Examples : Dancing , singing , making muscles , painting etc..

Inherited traits :

  • Those characters which are present in an individuals since birth.

  • They are a result of change in the DNA.

  • They are passed to the progeny.

  • These are transferred to the next to next generations. ( never death or lose )

  • Examples : Colour of eyes , colour of hairs or skin etc..
