  1. Integrated steel plants are in size and handle everything one roof, this usually have an electric arc furnace and use steel scarp and sponge iron as row material where as mini steel plants are smaller in size comparing to integrated steel plants.
  2. The problem faced by industry poor infrastructure. Low efficiency of work force. Lack of energy supply
  3. The policy of FDI ( Foreign Direct investment) have provided boost to iron and steel industry
