A greenhouse is an enclosed environment that provides regulated climate condition to the plants those in need of it for its growth.

Light plays an important role in plant growth. So, an extra importance should be given for light settings in a greenhouse.

Even though the greenhouses are built of transparent materials, artificial lighting is required when the available natural sunlight is not sufficient.

With greenhouse lighting, the plants can be maintained in long-day condition.

Four different type of lighting is used in the greenhouses they are

1.  Incandescent

2. High-Intensity Discharge Fluorescent

3. High-Intensity Fluorescent
