Neurotransmitters travel across the synapse between the axon and the dendrite of the next neuron.

Neurotransmitters bind to the membrane of the dendrite.

firstly it come to dentrite of one neuron then its cyton or cell body then axon and then nerve ending and from nerve ending of neuron to dentrites of other neuron......
