metals of middle reactivity series are obtained from its Ore by two methods :-

1. calcination :- it is the method of separating metal from carbonate ores..... in this process metal. carbonates are heated strongly in the absence aur lack of oxygen.......carbon dioxide is released during this process.....

2. roasting :- it is the process of seperating metals from sulphide ore...... in this process sulphide ores are heated strongly in presence of oxygen.... Sulphurous oxide is released during this process.......
