2 In sewage treatment.
3 As source of food.
4 In preparation of medicines such as antibiotics and vaccines.

And microorganisms also caused various types of disease such as;
1 Cholera by bacteria.
2 Typhoid by bacteria.
3 Malaria by protozoa etc....

So we can say that "microorganisms are our foe and friends".
