---------FORMATION OF MINERALS ----
MINERALS: The materials or substances which can be obtained under the earth.
☆ The minerals are formed when there is possibility of situations.
☆ The formation of minerals by high temperature is called as Metamorphism.
☆ The minerals in metamorphic rocks are formed in the presence of high temperature.
☆ The minerals like lime stone etc are formed by the crystallisation of the igneous rocks.
☆ Those minerals which are formed by metamorphism are called as Index minerals..

Hello everyone...
Minerals generally occur in these forms:
In igneous and metamorphic rocks, minerals may occur in the cracks, crevices, faults and joints. The smaller occurrences are called veins and the larger one are called the Iodes.
In most of the cases, they are formed when minerals in liquid/molten and gaseous forms are forced upwards through cavities towards the earth’s surface.
They cool and solidify as they rise. Major metallic minerals like tin, copper, zinc and lead etc. are obtained from veins and lodes.
