minerals are really help full for us.it can help us in opening industries and getting maximum benefit from small inputs .

if any city has nothing except mineral then even they can developed more better

for example Jharkhand ,madhyapradesh

some minerals are useful directly as raw material and some minerals are useful by processing into useful products. Eg crude oil cannot be used directly as fuel and it should be processed by fractional distillation
