How are monsoon wind differ from land and sea vreeze?

Monsoon winds blows south west during summer season ( in India) like sea breeze blows in a particular direction ( from sea to land) during the day. But in winter the monsoon winds reverses its direction from south west to north east just like the opposite of sea breeze ( land breeze ; from land to sea) during night.
