According to the Indian Constitution, the Democratic rights of the people are mentioned under Article 29. The democratic right preserves and protects the citizen’s rights and maintains law and order in the country.

The Democratic rights entitle the citizen right of opinion, thought and expression. Democracy considers all citizen are equal under the law.
