Natural indicators prepared by some following methods

• Take water in the beaker and add (a substance ex. china rose) to it.
• Heat the beaker for 1-20 minutes. Filter the extract.
• Add it to vinegar and lime water.(record your observations)
• You'll find that the extracts that appear pink,when added to dilute hydrochloric acid (vinegar),changes to magenta.
• On adding it to lime water,it turns green.
• This indicates that vinegar is an acid and lime water is a base because the china rose extract turns magenta in acids and green in bases.
