The digestive system Breaks down the food into simpler substances or nutrients such as Glucose(C6H12O6).The food mixes with blood and our circulatory system transports Glucose and other nutrients from digestive system to each cell of the body. The circulatory system also transports oxygen from the lungs to the cells. Now the cells have what they need for cellular respirtion.Glucose combines with oxygen and releases carbon dioxide which is exhaled by us and releases water and energy and respiration takes place. Thus repiration ,circulation and digestion are interconnected to each other.
